Somapura Mahavihara / Paharpur

Somapura Mahavihara is one of the historical visiting place in Naogaon. It is located in Paharpur in Naogaon district. Additionally, People know it as a Buddhist vihara. King Dharmapala built this vihara in the late 8th century. It was a famous religious center of Buddhism for 300 years. This vihara covers an area of 27 acres. This vihara has 177 rooms. There are ruins of Buddhist temples in the center of Vihara chatter. There are some rooms and mandaps around the temple. They constructed several baths and latrins 27 meters south of the Vihara. People find the ruins of some buildings in the open country and between the Vihara. There are some terracotta artwork on the walls of the vihara. The vihara preserves several ancient statues, all of which are displayed in the museum. In 1985, UNESCO gave this vihara the world heritage site status.

Balihar Rajbari is one of the famous visiting places in Naogaon district. It is one of the archaeological sites of Bangladesh. This Zamindar house is located in Balihar Union of Naogaon Sadar upazila. Nrishimha Chakraborty founded this Zamindar family. The zamindar of Balihar built various structures in this area, among which this rajbari is one of them. There is a grand arcade in front of the place. Rajbari has more nut temples, Raj-Rajeshwari temple, and Jora Shiva temples inside the place. There were 330 dighis and ponds in this Zamindar bari area. This palace has three floors. Dana Park

Dana Park is one of the most attractive visiting places in the Naogaon district. This park is located in Bhabanipur village of Naogaon district. They built this park on about 10 bighas of land. There is entertainment for adults and children. Dana Park has many attractive entertainment systems. Including paddle boats, charki,nagordola, toy trains, swings, live horses, swimming pool, etc. There is a community center and restaurant for organizing picnics. Altadighi National Park

Altadighi National Park is a natural historical visiting place in the Naogaon district. Which is located in Dhamuirhat upazila of Naogaon district. It was established in December 2011. Essentially, it is a vast forest. It surrounds a lake called Altadighi. This area of this pond is about 43 acres. According to local people, there are small tigers, jackals, pythons, panthers, and monkeys in Altadighi Park. Moreover, there are different types of birds and insects, as well as various species of biodiversity.

Ghughudanga

Ghughudanga is one of the popular visiting places in the Naogaon district. Which is located in Hajinagar Union of Niamatpur upazila. Palm trees lined up on both sides of the road. Palm trees are present along the 3 km roads. Consequently, the area is more commonly known as Taltali. There is sitting on both sides of the road. All over the pond shapla flower are adorning.
